Economic Development Partners

The City of Centennial works closely with several regional and sub-regional economic development partners. These partnerships allow for efficiency and expertise that enhance the resources available to Centennial’s business community.

South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center
The South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers assistance and support to entrepreneurs in Arapahoe, Douglas, and south Jefferson counties. We work with small business owners at all stages of business, whether they have an idea and are considering starting a business, have just started their business, or have been operating for an extended period of time. Our center provides a number of services and resources to help entrepreneurs start and run their company.

Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation
The Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (Metro Denver EDC), an affiliate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, is the nation’s first and only truly regional economic development entity in which many area economic development groups have joined together to represent, and further, the interests of an entire region. Our partners include 70 cities, counties, and economic development organizations in the seven-county Metro Denver and two-county Northern Colorado region.

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber is a non-profit, action-oriented membership organization that serves as the leading business "voice" and representative of the businesses in the east metro area. As a voluntary organization, the Chamber unites businesses, professionals and firms into a central agency that works to improve the business climate and building a better community.

South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce
In 1921, a group of 74 forward-thinking business executives organized the beginnings of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce.  Today, the South Metro Denver Chamber is one of the most influential forces in local government and regional economic development. With more than 1,600 members incorporating over 85,000 employees, the Chamber is actively involved in public policy and providing valuable resources to its members. The organization believes that individuals working together are a true force to be reckoned with.

South East Business Partnership
The Southeast Business Partnership is an organization of government and business leaders committed to the economic vitality and sustainability of the South Metro Denver region.  We achieve this goal through a comprehensive strategy focused on business retention, expansion and attraction; active advocacy of transportation, and water infrastructure improvement; direct, proactive support for education and workforce development; and encouragement of business-friendly public policy.
